Barbie Wall Clock

Dresser Makeover

This dresser was originally chestnut wood color n belong to my mother. I have always love DIYs and makeover projects and this dresser was actually among my earlier projects. Years ago, with my mom's permission I painted it white. The finishing was not very neat though and since we didn't really have space for it, the dresser was cast aside inside the store for ages.  With lots of ideas and inspirations nowadays we can get from internet, i've finally able to figure out a space for the dresser and this time I painted its body with dark grey and the drawers with light grey. I must say my painting techniques have improved tremendously over the years ;p

Chevron Table

Suddenly I came to remember this cute table. We bought it years ago at Ikea and painted it white. Then, along the way came little artists expressing their talents on this table. It has been hiding behind our bedroom's door ever since. So, I decided to make some makeover. Painted it white first. Once it dried, I measured, drew and taped the chevron pattern. Well... It wasn't easy after all. As for the peacock blue color, i mixed brown paint and light blue paint myself. Not too bad I must say.

Console Table makeover

This makeover is my utmost achievement and am very proud with it. I first sanded the table and painted it with dark brown . Then i glued patterned paper to the top of the table and the front of  its drawers. It'll be much easier if it's wall paper but i just used regular patterned papers. The papers were a bit light so it was quite difficult to paste but it was very cheap though. Passions are seriously needed for this project.

Cassettes Wall

Another wall to uplift. Lots of old cassettes laying around. So... did some goggle-ing here and there to find some inspiration to combine the wall and the cassettes. As for the result.... :) Another easy and cheap project.

Lamp shade makeover

It is an old lamp shade. though it has went through some not very success makeover before, it is still in good condition. So... instead of throwing it away, i tried my 2nd attempt to revamp the shade. I scrapped away the hideous cloth and this time around i used patterned paper instead. I cut the flowers and leaves motifs from the paper and glued it to the lamp shade. Lastly, i secured it with two coats of clear spray and glued some beads around the lamp shade. I wasn't very happy with the outcome at first but once the lights on... it totally changed my view.
